In my post earlier this week, I mentioned that 1 of my weblog goals for the year is to share more casual updates with you every at present and so. Yesterday marked 1 month since we adopted our sweet puppy! Freya has become my little shadow, post-obit me all around the house ;). She is an unknown mix, office Shepherd is really all we know for sure. Her playful side actually came out last weekend when I puppy-sat my sis'due south new puppy. They had never met and I had my easily total watching two puppies by myself all day. "Cousin" Ruggles wasn't well-nigh as playful (much more than content chewing a os in the corner), but he was a good sport at letting Freya wrestle him for hours. They were mischievious little puppies, just their cuteness made up for information technology! It'due south somewhat of a miracle that my living room wasn't completely destroyed. I was definitely prepare for a nap afterward!
I treated myself to a picayune Amazon order this week, and I devoured the book in two days. This volume is packed with styling secretsandis a gorgeous hardcover coffee table book. Emily Henderson is one of my all time favorite designers, and I learned so much about styling and decorating from her book. At the beginning, at that place'southward a quiz that helps determine your way. I've never really known what verbal decorating fashion I am, simply the book pegged me as Scandinavian and Minimalist. Interesting, huh? The huge photos that illustrated each design way were a peachy lesson in design. I learned so much from this book that I'm going to write a mail well-nigh my big takeaways.

The Sorta Awesome podcast is ane of my favorite finds of 2016. It's conversational, funny, girly, smart, lite hearted and full of amazing recommendations. And it'south as well one of the few podcasts I listen to merely for fun, since I normally gravitate toward more marketing focused topics.
